Light Bulb

Grow Light Bulbs – Warm Spectrum

Plants primarily use the red and blue/purple ends of the light spectrum to grow. The warm red end promotes flower development and the cool blue/purple end encouraged leaf growth. Having a combination of warm and cool bulbs will provide plants with both ends of the light spectrum they need for healthy development. Currently, we use 3 cool spectrum bulbs and 1 warm spectrum bulb in a single T8 fluorescent fixture with good results.
