So happy I found this store online! I traveled all over the city I live in trying to locate silica based sand and unfortunately even the specialty indoor plant stores didn’t carry it. You saved my Venus fly trap and for that I, and it, couldn’t be happier!!

Perfect sand. This is a very clean product. This has ideal grain size and mixed seamlessly with perlite and pumice. This is a 1/2 gallon of sand which should go a long way for regular houseplant needs.

Needed “horticultural” sand to re-pot some ice plants. Who knew you shouldn’t use regular ‘ol play sand? :-)
Served the purpose well. Wish you got more bang for the buck but I think the price here was probably the best I saw when researching. Quick shipping. Would purchase here again if ever needed again.

Nice large grains for great drainage! Fairly clean and didn’t require a ton of rinsing. Bag broke in transit from the box itself being punctured by USPS; not the fault of Curious Plants.

Best silica sand I have used. Will order again.
