Pinguicula moctezumae is a beautiful species of butterwort native to Hidalgo and Queretaro, Mexico. To supplement poor environmental nutrition, the leaves produce sticky droplets via a series of glandular structures which serve to trap and digest insects. P. moctezumae is known for its prolific flowers.

Beautiful plant, but it was very top heavy with very shallow roots. I had to find a piece of stainless rod to kind of prop it up and hope it takes root.
