Please add a 72 hour heat pack to your order if you are concerned plants may be exposed to temperatures below 40°F during shipping. We also recommend upgrading shipping to FedEx 2Day at checkout to prevent the heat pack from running out before the package is delivered.

The heat pack worked out great and was much needed as I ordered my plants in late winter/early spring where weather conditions were still cool/cold outside. I’m confident that the heat pack contributed to healthy plants on arrival and it was still warm during unboxing.

My plants arrived alive and well. I ordered this because it was recommended by the store and required for a refund if the plant arrived non-viable in the mail. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars simply because I feel as though it should be automatically included in the package and not an extra charge. Especially if its required for a refund. Im also not sure it actually did anything to help the plants viability chances. But that may just be because it wasn’t freezing in my area. However I felt an obligation to order it since the website said its usually below 40 degrees in March where the plants are housed by the seller. And without it, there’s no refund if the plants arrive dead. Even if the issue may have had nothing to do with the weather.

Don’t ship in winter without it!
