Utricularia blanchetii is a tropical terrestrial bladderwort native to central Bahia in Brazil. It blooms freely, with multiple flowers on each stalk. The subterranean traps of Utricularia are the fastest of all carnivorous plants and can capture prey in less than one millisecond. First time Curious Plant customer here. I ordered 2 different types of utricularia plants. They arrived in 2 days since i spent extra on the recommended faster shipping. The plants were well packaged with the separate soil mix and heat pack that i also ordered, as suggested by the store for viability and a refund if needed. The plants arrived in excellent condition. They are bright green and beautiful even without any active flowering. Though the overall cost was more than i would normally spend on this size of plant, I think they were worth every penny. Would definitely order from Curious Plant again because I know im getting quality plants and an easy, straight forward shopping experience.

Thank you for the healthy plug of Blanchetii! Usually when buying small terrestrial Utrics, you will unwrap a clod of dirt with a barely noticeable specks of green hiding in there somewhere. It arrived wrapped in the cutest cone nursery pot material and had a thick tuft of green on top the size of a cotton ball. It is all repotted and shows no stress.
