Utricularia longifolia is an epiphytic bladderwort native to Brazil. It produces showy purple flowers on long stalks and its large bladder traps often grow out of the bottom of its pot. It is best to keep the soil well saturated for most of the year with a slightly dryer rest period during the winter. See additional information below.
Description
Size and packing method: Plants are shipped as 1 inch plugs. Upon arrival, plant the plug in a larger container. Each plug contains one or more plants.
Growing requirements
Mature size: Flowers are around 1 inch in size, leaves reach about 5-8 inches tall in cultivation, produces large bladder traps
Light: Partial shade
Soil: Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix or long fiber sphagnum and perlite
Feeding: Traps feed on small organisms in the soil
Humidity: 50-90%
Water: Keep media saturated spring through fall and slightly dryer in winter, provide water that is low in salts and minerals such as rain or distilled water
Temperature: 45-85°F
Dormancy: Keep media slightly more dry during winter to give the plant a rest period

This one is cool very long roots apparently it likes the roots coming out the bottom of the pot. I chose a taller pot for this one.
