Pinguicula agnata ‘Red Leaf’

Pinguicula agnata ‘Red Leaf’ ‘is a form of P. agnata that develops deep red coloration thanks to increased levels of anthocyanin in its leaves. The red coloration combined with dew production in its carnivorous state makes the plant sparkle like a ruby in the sunlight. New flowers are white with purple edges and a yellow throat. The purple edges slowly fade to white as the flower ages.  P. agnata ‘Red Leaf’ is easy to care for and prefers a loose mineral-based substrate.
