Pinguicula moranensis ‘A’ is a Mexican butterwort that can grow quite large with its summer rosette reaching 8 inches or more in diameter. The flowers are quite large as well. P. moranensis ‘A’ prefers a loose substrate. Please note: Some plants are more green on arrival but will turn pink with time under intense light. See size descriptions below.
Description
Size and packing method: You will receive a bare root plant carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel. Small plants are about 1 inch in diameter and medium size plants are about 2 inches in diameter. If selecting with soil mix, you will receive a little over one cup of our prepackaged Mexican Butterwort Potting Mix in addition to the bare root plant. This quantity of soil is roughly enough to fill one 2.5 x 2.5 x 3.5 inch square pot.
Growing requirements
Mature size: 8+ inches in diameter

The fungus gnat catching queen! Nice and large with a very healthy root system. This one caught nearly 20 gnats the first day I set it out after acclimating. Impressive.
