I thank for the delivery and just hope now that I don’t kill them. I am used to growing up lights. I saw your videos, but wondering about the one on lights as it is too technical for me to understand. I am currently just using regular LED’s and they seem to do fine. Another question I have is about water. I have spring water and it is naturally soft with sandstone and limestone. Should I not use it? There are no chemicals or water treatment in it.

This great Ping bundle arrived in the mail today and I unpacked and planted everything immediately. Five healthy little plants arrived in perfect shape. The planting instructions were easy, and the plants show well in the butterwort soil mix. Hoping for perfect acclimatization and some well-fed butterworts once I completely remove the seedling tray cover.

I started my ping collection a little over two years ago with a lot of success. Been growing various other types of carnivorous plants since then, but didn’t hesitate to buy this set when i saw it. Thoughtfully packaged, healthy, cute plants. They’ve been planted up for about a week now and are starting to acclimate to their new home, with some new growth already showing their beautiful colors.
I have them in a south-facing, unobstructed windowsill in northern Nevada. Giving them a low intensity LED treatment for 3 hours after sundown (winter right now.
Anyway, great way to get started with pinguicula.
