Nepenthes x hookeriana (a.k.a. Hooker’s Pitcher Plant) is a hybrid between N. ampullaria and N. rafflesiana. Some of these plants are seed grown and others are tissue cultured so there may be some variation in characteristics. Like its parents, N. x hookeriana prefers lowland conditions. Just freakin’ adorable. Hands down the cutest Nepenthes I have ever beheld with my own two eyes. Very healthy, happy plant and packaged perfectly – I see no signs of shock so far. Beautiful pink blush on the leaves; pale, firm pitchers with delightful freckles and dainty little whiskers all over the wings and lids. Absolutely cannot wait to see how it looks as it matures!

My sundew arrived healthy and ready for the pot, even after surviving the mass holiday delays. It’s already putting out dew and beckoning the fungus gnats. Can’t wait to watch it grow! I will definitely be back for a pitcher plant in the future.

I want to cry, this little plant is so gorgeous. This is my first Nepenthes and I knew I could trust the folks at Curious Plant to send a powerful little monster. The leaf blush is *chef kiss* the freckling, stunning. It’s mid January and despite a short delay due to the suffering of our hamstrung postal service, the plant arrived cold but without a spot on it. This plant was so spry out of the bag I think I should be scared.

Healthy plant! But it was packed so tightly with pitchers in the moss that half of them rotted :(

I have received two separate orders from these guys and they are outstanding! My first order contained a cephalotus and a nepenthes hookeriana and they were just wonderful! I loved them so much I ended up ordering more cephalotus, more nepenthes, and a heliamphora. Love all of my plants and they arrived in superb quality!
