Drosera capensis ‘Wide Leaf’ is appropriately named for the wider leaves it produces in comparison to the typical form of the plant. It is a hardy grower and will develop a “trunk” over time as old leaves die away and new ones are produced from the growth point. The leaves are covered with tentacles that secrete a clear sticky substance to attract and catch prey.
