Compared with typical forms of Cephalotus, these plants are vigorous growers and can produce pitchers up to 2.5 inches in length. C. follicularus ‘Hummer’s Giant’ was established as a cultivar by John Hummer in 2000 in the December edition of the Carnivorous Plant Newsletter.
