Utricularia alpina is an epiphytic bladderwort that produces large white or light purple flowers. It is native to the Antilles and parts of northern South America where it thrives in moist, mossy environments. Description
Size and packing method: Plants are shipped as 1 inch plugs. Upon arrival, plant the plug in a larger container. Each plug contains one or more plants.
Growing requirements
Mature size: Flowers up to 2.5 inch across and leaves reach about 4-5 inches tall
Light: Partial shade
Soil: Pure long fiber sphagnum or long fiber sphagnum and perlite
Feeding: Traps feed on small organisms in the soil

Water: Keep media damp year round, provide water that is low in salts and minerals such as rain or distilled water
