Utricularia sandersonii is a tropical bladderwort native to South Africa. It is most well known for its prolific flowers resembling floating rabbits. This form of U. sandersonii also produces hair-like runners that allow it to spread easily across the surface of the soil and into neighboring pots. It is an easy grower and excellent candidate for terrariums and window sills. See additional information below.

Description

Size and packing method: Plants are shipped as 1 inch plugs of soil. Upon arrival, the plug will need to be planted in a larger container. Each plug contains multiple small plants.

Growing requirements

Mature size: Flowers are about 0.5 inches in size, produces small subterranean bladder traps
Light: Partial sun
Soil: Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix, pure peat, or peat-sand mix
Feeding: Traps will feed on small organisms in the soil, but occasional foliar feeding with diluted Maxsea fertilizer can also be beneficial
Humidity: 50-90%
Water: Keep soil wet at all times, provide water that is low in salts and minerals such as rain or distilled water
Temperature: 60-90°F
Dormancy: None

    Got bareroot drosera and pinguicula at the same time. They both are already catching gnats, but this guy starting from a plug is going to take a little time to grow into his job.
