This highly porous Mexican butterwort mix contains crushed coral (calcium) making it a good substrate for butterworts that prefer neutral to slightly alkaline substrates. Fill a whole pot with it or use it as a topdressing for similar effect. Quantities are measured and shipped dry.

Potting mix is free from fertilizer additives.
Rinsing media in distilled water prior to use is advisable to flush out any potential excess mineral content.

I mostly used the Mexican Butterwort Potting Mix for the base and topped the pots with the Deluxe Mix because I thought it was a good idea. So far, so good. Everyone is happy. And, it helps with the neatness factor. Truly, truly.
Tip: Add good quality spahg moss, or mesh to the bottom of the pots so the sand doesn’t just seep out over time.
