Drosera aliciae is a sub-tropical rosette sundew native to South Africa. It is easy to care for and recommended for beginners. D. aliciae can turn bright orange/red if given strong light but may become more green in dimmer conditions or if fed frequently. It has a habit of clumping and can form beautiful mounds of dewy plants.

I’m so happy with my new sundew! I’ve always wanted one and just couldn’t find one locally. I was really nervous about shipping something in the winter but I added a heat pack and the plant arrived looking healthy and happy. The instructions were extremely helpful. Its already started unfurling new leaves and eaten a bug. I’m definitely going to order from Curious Plant again.

Came perfectly wrapped and in perfect condition. I got this one and a few others in a package for a birthday gift. I have to add that the customer service is excellent! I had one tiny question and they got back to me on a Sunday, can you believe that? They treat every question like it’s the most important one they’ll ever answer.
