Drosera capensis ‘Albino’ (also known as the ‘Alba’ form) is similar to D. capensis ‘Typical’, however it lacks much of the red pigmentation of its counterpart. The plant will remain all green while its dewy stalks turn only slightly pink under intense light. D. capensis ‘Albino’ produces all white flowers and is easy to care for making it a good plant for beginners.

Part of my second order from Curious Plants, won’t be my last. Beautiful jewel of a plant, carefully packaged, arrived without any damage at all. Followed directions to pot and acclimatize, and 10 days on this beauty is thriving. I love you guys!

Arrived in good shape and much larger than I expected. The damp paper towel had absorbed all the goo off the leaves. I repotted it and kept it in a lightly shaded area away from direct sun for 3-4 days and just moved it into a more sunny indoor area yesterday. The sticky goo is coming back now and the plant looks terrific. Very happy with this purchase.

5-6-21 update…Still thriving and getting all her goo back. Watch out soil gnats!

Arrived well packaged and in great condition. I had a brief scare with transplant shock but my drosera capensis is settled into her terrarium and thriving! Excellent quality for the price and if I decide to branch into other carnivorous plants, I’ll be ordering from here again.

My sundew came very healthy and it is acclimating very nicely to it’s new home. I have a venus fly trap growing next to it and they seem to enjoy each other’s company. I would also definitely recommend Curious Plant to somebody who is looking for a place to buy a carnivorous plant. Thank you so much for my adorable sundew!
