Drosera capensis ‘Albino’ (also known as the ‘Alba’ form) is similar to D. capensis ‘Typical’, however it lacks much of the red pigmentation of its counterpart. The plant will remain all green while its dewy stalks turn only slightly pink under intense light. D. capensis ‘Albino’ produces all white flowers and is easy to care for making it a good plant for beginners.

All the plants arrived looking beautiful and robust! Shipping was quick and the packaging was still damp when I opened the box. The butterwort has already caught several gnats! I’d definitely buy again from you.

Plant arrived right on time, beautifully wrapped and packaged, very well protected inside the packaging. The instructions to prep the soil for replanting were very detailed and helpful. So far the plant appears to be acclimating well although I am surprised at how much distilled water I have been adding to the saucer under the pot, refilling it almost every day and watching it get wicked up into the pot within minutes. I’ll have to read up on this plant to make sure I’m not over watering it.

I was interested to see how this was shipped. It came well prepared as well. I had to separate the heads but after that it was already eating. Great roots also!
