Drosera capensis ‘Montagu Pass’ is a Cape Sundew originally collected from Montagu Pass in South Africa. It is easy to care for and and may produce plantlets as it grows. The leaves are covered with tentacles (trichomes) that secrete a sticky “dew” containing enzymes to attract, catch, and digest prey.

I got two and only purchased one! Both have turned a robust red. They did a great job packaging the plants for winter. I would consider maybe purchasing two heat packs for your order for winter purchases.

I received my Sundew a couple weeks ago and it’s coming out of the acclimation process just fine. The plant arrived in perfect condition and seems to like his new home well. I am so happy with my purchase I just ordered a pitcher plant to add to my collection. I would highly recommend Curious Plant as it is obvious they care about their plants and customers!
