Drosera regia

(2 customer reviews)

Drosera regia, also known as the King Sundew, is an incredible species. It grows long sword-shaped leaves that can wrap multiple times around prey, surrounding it with dew secreting tentacles that are equally impressive in size. Originating from a single valley in South Africa, it is one of the most vulnerable Drosera species in the wild with only a few hundred individuals left in one small colony.

Size and packing method: You will receive a plant 3-4 inches in diameter. Bare root plants will be carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel. Potted specimens will be packed securely to prevent the plant from becoming dislodged during shipping.

The plants speak for themselves here! The D. Regia I received was a little stressed from shipping but overall very healthy nice root formation and very healthy leaves and crown. The packaging was well enough that no root or leaves were broken. The plant perked up and began dewing only about day later, which really goes to show how well they were taken care of before. I could not be more happy with my purchase curious plants will definitely be receiving more orders from me!
