This form of Nepenthes x hookeriana produces mostly green pitchers with light speckling on the inner walls and red stripes around the peristome. N. x hookeriana (a.k.a. Hooker’s Pitcher Plant) is a hybrid between N. ampullaria and N. rafflesiana and prefers lowland conditions.

Size and packing method: You will receive a young bare root plant 2-3 inches from one leaf tip to the other, carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel
Light: Partial shade
Growing media: Long-fiber sphagnum moss
Feeding: Feed bugs, dried bloodworms, or fish food every 2-3 weeks, fertilizer such as Osmocote may be added to pitchers sparingly
Water: Keep wet at all times, provide water that is low in salts and minerals such as rain or distilled water
