The Dionaea muscipula ‘B52’ cultivar can grow enormous traps over 2 inches in length. Though ironically fitting, the flytrap didn’t receive it’s name from the large B-52 bomber, rather ‘B52’ was simply a code the original grower, Henning Von Schmeling, used to identify different specimens. D. muscipula ‘B52’ is a vigorous clone and tends to form clumps of large traps.

This was a gift for my partner and he LOVES it! This was my first time handling bare root (or carnivorous) plants, so the care/acclimation guides were great. Packaging was great and the lil’ guy (Audrey 3) is thriving and throwing out new traps already. 10/10 will buy again.
