Sarracenia leucophylla var. leucophylla can display a range of color and veining patterns and are considered some of the most visually striking of American pitcher plants. The plants lure prey with nectar and bright colors and quickly fill with insects. The white areas are also highly visible in moonlight and it is thought this may aid in trapping nocturnal prey. Our plants were originally started with seed from plants located in Walton County, Florida and then further propagated via tissue culture.
