Drosera capensis ‘Beet’ is a Cape sundew that earned its nickname from the deep red color it develops in strong light. In order to propagate these, a friend and fellow grower provided us with a few offspring from her own plant (a.k.a. Momma Beet). Cape sundews are easy to care for making them a good plant for beginners. Please note: Some plants may be more green than others on arrival but will turn red with time under strong light.
