Drosera capensis ‘Beet’ is a Cape sundew that earned its nickname from the deep red color it develops in strong light. In order to propagate these, a friend and fellow grower provided us with a few offspring from her own plant (a.k.a. Momma Beet). Cape sundews are easy to care for making them a good plant for beginners. Please note: Some plants may be more green than others on arrival but will turn red with time under strong light.

Love this place. My wife has ordered a lot of plants from them. They all arrive in great condition and you can’t get any better customer service then these two that work here. Gonna be ordering plenty more during summer time.

Nothing but good thinks when purchasing from CP. always early delivery. Always healthy and prices are perfect for me. I wanted to wait to review my cape sundew so it could get some dew on it for the photo. As you can see dew is on it after 2 days. I’m very happy with this and all purchases.
