Description
Size and packing method: Small plants are about 1 inch in diameter and large ones are a little over 2 inches in diameter. Bare root plants will be carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel. Potted specimens will be packed securely to prevent the plant from becoming dislodged during shipping.
Growing requirements
Light: Full sun or grow light equivalent
Mature size: 2-4 in. diameter
Soil: Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix, Pure peat, peat-sand mix, or long-fiber sphagnum
Feeding: Feed bugs, dried bloodworms, fish food, or diluted foliar fertilizer such as Maxsea every 2-3 weeks
Humidity: 50-75%
Water: Keep wet at all times during the active growing season, provide water that is low in salts and minerals such as rain or distilled water
Temperature: 45-90°F with warmer temperatures preferred, this species prefers warm roots so a heat mat may also be beneficial

This was my first wooly sundew order. Was surprised how long the roots are. Love them – if they thrive, will likely order more. Appreciate the variety of plants available. I ordered items I have not seen at other carnivorous plant nurseries.

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received! Elizabeth went above and beyond after fedex lost my package. She called them multiple times to locate it and get things moving again. She offered a free replacement or store credit if the plant arrived in poor health. Even though it was no fault of hers. Fedex finally found the package and even though it was 3 days late it still arrived looking very healthy! Couldn’t be happier! Thank you Curious plant!

Arrived, maybe earlier than I expected I think? And very excited to see that this “ Drosera derbyensis x ordensis” & “ Drosera broomensis ‘Taylor’s Lagoon turn off, Kimberley, WA’” that I orderd together came firmly packed and safely sealed so that everything was intact when they arrived. Didn’t look like anything fell out. All in all it was methodically well packed! 👌 This was my 1st 2 plants I got potted from Curious Plant. Not only did I get these 2 I also Got myself 1 “ Pinguicula ehlersiae `Victoria´ & 1 Pinguicula esseriana“ along with the order so that’s 4 Total, and those 2 came wrapped in a damped paper towel inside of a clear HotSouce packet. Smart cuz it fit perfectly.
Just didn’t like the fact that I had orderd like 6-7 different soils 1st hoping it would arrive b4 the flowers but it was the other way around. Even after I order the flowers the following day, was mailed out 2geather and the soils still came a week late. All in all everything was methodically and safely packed! And will still be ordering more in the near future! Not only that I recommend anyone and everyone to Curious Plant! The plants are so Beautiful and very well kept I’m excited to see the growth!

If you want a mix of both derbyensis and ordensis, then CuriousPlant is the shop to go to. I can tell they really take great care of their plants. Every plant that was delivered to my door was in perfect condition with healthy root systems. Each plant was already putting out new leaves when it arrived. It was my first time buying from CuriousPlant, and I will definitely buy a lot more in the future! You guys are amazing.
