Size and packing method: Small plants are about 1 inch in diameter and large ones are a little over 2 inches in diameter. Bare root plants will be carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel. Potted specimens will be packed securely to prevent the plant from becoming dislodged during shipping.
Light: Full sun or grow light equivalent
Mature size: 2-4 in. diameter
Soil: Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix, Pure peat, peat-sand mix, or long-fiber sphagnum
Feeding: Feed bugs, dried bloodworms, fish food, or diluted foliar fertilizer such as Maxsea every 2-3 weeks
Humidity: 50-75%
Water: Keep wet at all times during the active growing season, provide water that is low in salts and minerals such as rain or distilled water
Temperature: 45-90°F with warmer temperatures preferred, this species prefers warm roots so a heat mat may also be beneficial
Dormancy: Dormant during the dry season. Trigger dormancy by reducing the length of the photoperiod for about 3 months. Reduce watering during dormancy and only feed if there is dew on the traps.

This is a STUNNING PLANT!!! I feel foolish for thinking that I liked the ones with red the best! The color on this derbyensis x ordensis is a fiery orange that looks classy with the soft woolly white but yet it may be the most uplifting one of all! What a joyous little treasure! I ordered the large and it’s definitely larger than the photos on the site here – I Love it!
