Drosera madagascariensis is a subtropical sundew that can grow quite large over time. If supported, it can grow to about a foot tall or snake along the grown with the top 3 inches or so maintaining active traps. D. madadgascariensis is native to Madagascar and several locations throughout southern Africa.

Description

Size and packing method: You will receive a bare root plant about 1 inch tall, carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel. If selecting with soil mix, you will receive two cups of our prepackaged Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix in addition to the bare root plant. This quantity of soil is roughly enough to fill one 2.5 x 2.5 x 3.5 inch square pot.

Growing requirements

Mature size: Up to 12 inches tall/long
Light: Full sun or grow light equivalent
Soil: Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix, pure peat, or peat-sand mix
Feeding: Feed bugs, dried bloodworms, fish food, or diluted foliar fertilizer such as Maxsea every 2-3 weeks
Humidity: 35-75%
Water: Keep wet at all times, provide water that is low in salts and minerals such as rain or distilled water
Temperature: 45-90°F
Dormancy: None

    I was super excited to find that I received not 1 plant but a clump of 5-7 individual plants. All of them were super healthy and after a brief adjustment to the new pot they bounced back. The first image is the day I received them, the second image is 1 month later.
