Drosera natalensis is a sub-tropical rosette sundew native to South Africa. It is an another easy carnivorous plant to care for making it a good option for beginners. There has been some question as to whether D. natalensis and D. venusta should remain listed as separate species or combined into one due to their similarities. Please note: Some plants may arrive more green in color but will turn red under strong light.

Plant came well packaged, healthy, and just as described. Shipping was speedy. Really couldn’t be happier. Plant itself is very red and jumps out in a terrarium, would look great on a windowsill too!

I was given quite a fright when the root system fell off when I unwrapped the plant. I know some sundews can “float” so I put it atop some damp soil and planted the root system separately. The plant has grown several new leaves and just caught it’s first bug today. What a trooper. 10/10.

Beautiful sundews and arrived in great condition, despite a (my fault) delivery mixup in my apartment complex that allowed them to sit an extra day in box. Four days later and they have recovered most of their dew and look great!
