Drosera regia, also known as the King Sundew, is an incredible species. It grows long sword-shaped leaves that can wrap multiple times around prey, surrounding it with dew secreting tentacles that are equally impressive in size. Originating from a single valley in South Africa, it is one of the most vulnerable Drosera species in the wild with only a few hundred individuals left in one small colony.

Was delivered a day late FedEx fault. The plant was very well packaged. My Regia came with a surprise it has a little one growing beside it with 1 inch leaves already. There are new leaves growing and old ones dying the plant looks really strong!

Plant arrived at the day it was expected to. The plant was packaged extremely well, tentacles even resumed some dew production after a few days of acclimation to its new environment. Mine even came with a newly propagated root cutting along with the adult plant. Definitely recommend purchasing from this seller

Amazing!! 10/10! Shipped beautifully and already has a new leaf coming out. I have it in my ikea cabinet greenhouse and it’s catching all the fungus gnats!

Arrived with many of the leaves black but that’s to be expected with shipping. Hopefully I can revive it. You’re my favorite nursery.

Thank you Taylor! A little blackening around some of the leaf edges is common when sending regia through the mail and is usually nothing to worry about. If it’s more severe or the plant doesn’t seem to be doing well though please let us know, we’d be happy to check it out!

A beautiful plant! I received a bare root plant in great shape. It’s already producing new leaves, and developing dew. I’ve wanted a regia for some time. Shipping was quick, and it was well packaged. Looking forward to watching it grow!

    These plants are OUTSTANDING!

I received two Drosera Regia sundews as a gift from my sister, as I have always wanted them for my carnivorous plant collection. The plants arrived and were packaged beautifully! Both plants were very healthy looking and were very moist from the paper toweling in the packaging. I have had these plants for about two weeks now, and they are acclimated to being out in the sun for a few hours during sunny days. They are catching bugs on their own outdoors, and I have fed them some dried bloodworms while indoors. I have also repotted them to larger pots so that the root system can expand.

Thank you CuriousPlant for these great plants! My sister and I will definitely buy more plants from you in the future! I highly recommend CuriousPlant!
