Drosera capensis ‘Narrow Red Leaf’ is a Cape Sundew that turns red under strong light. During the winter or in lower lighting conditions, the plants will revert to producing mostly green foliage. The leaves are covered with tentacles (trichomes) that secrete a sticky “dew” containing enzymes to attract, catch, and digest prey. Cape Sundews are easy to care for making them a good plant for beginners.

Very nice looking plant. Good leaves and several were starting to grow. A little transplant shock, but it’s got several new leaves growing now. Great color too. Very pleased
